Electronic Signature are Legal

Agreements signed and executed electronically have the same legal status as paper documents. Lexalign’s iPhone App ‘Sign Here’ is compliant with the 2000 U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN), the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), and the European Directive (EC/1999/93).

Using Sign Here, parties can sign their newly created documents with their finger as they would with a pen.   While the signature may not be identical to one’s signature created with a pen, they are just as legally binding.
